  1. Okay…42 seconds in and I am already crying…joy-tear. πŸ™‚
A gorgeous bride and a handsome groom! πŸ™‚
The music was so beautiful! πŸ™‚
Interesting how the pastor walked up and down the aisle. I liked that. He seems like such a sweet man. It was sweet how he patted Alicia’s shoulder as she began her vows to you. πŸ™‚
Aw, the little ring boys in white are so cute! πŸ™‚
It was so cool how everyone circled around you two and took turns speaking. πŸ™‚
The trio of ladies who sang, again, near the end, have such pretty voices! πŸ™‚
The people who walked out ahead of you two, at the end, were they wedding party or family?
What a romantic reception setting! πŸ™‚ The flowers, lights, and greenery…and beautifully decorated tables!
Love the horse carriage ride at the end! πŸ™‚
Aw…I’m so happy for you both, Tim! I think about years ago when I started reading your blog on Xanga…you have no idea how happy I am for you and where life has taken you! πŸ™‚
    Yes, I’m still crying.
    HUGS!!! πŸ™‚
PS…Wow! Your first anniversary will be here soon! πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Carolyn. My life is quite different from 2009 when I first met you on Xanga.

The “pastor” was my dad’s best friend and still handles business related to Dad’s pension for my stepmom. He was one of Dad’s students in the counseling program at the university, and a former priest. I’ve known him for 40 years. We didn’t expect him to walk around like that, but it was interesting and different. The whole ceremony was different from what we expected. We had gone over the program the night before, but then when it started, it flowed very differently. But it was wonderful and unforgettable.

The trio singing were two of my sisters and Alicia’s niece.

The people walking out ahead of us at the end are two of Alicia’s best friends, her brother, and my oldest friend in MedellΓn. The guy who gave her away is her oldest brother.

We planned a time near the end of the ceremony for people to pray or pronounce blessings. That was possibly the best part of the whole thing.
